Electrical problems get guessed at more than any other. Parts stores will sell you a battery for a car that isn't charging; another shop might replace an alternator that's fine. We test first: battery load test, charging voltage, starter draw, and a parasitic-draw test that finds what's killing the battery overnight.

Beyond batteries and alternators we handle starters, wiring repairs, switches, windows, lighting, sensors and accessories — tracing the fault through diagrams instead of swapping parts until something works.

What’s included

  • Battery testing, replacement and terminal service
  • Alternator and charging system testing
  • Starter and no-crank diagnosis
  • Parasitic draw (battery drain) tracing
  • Fuse, relay, switch and wiring repair
  • Lights, windows, alternator belt and accessory faults

Signs you need this

  • The battery light is on, or the battery keeps going flat
  • Slow crank in the morning, or clicks instead of turning over
  • Headlights dim at idle or brighten when you rev the engine
  • A fuse keeps blowing, or an accessory works intermittently

Electrical & Battery Service — common questions

My battery died — is it the battery or the alternator?
Both fail in similar ways, which is why testing beats guessing. A quick check takes minutes: if the car restarts after a jump but dies again soon after, suspect charging; if it won't hold a charge overnight, suspect the battery or a drain. Bring it in and we'll tell you which.
Can you find what's draining my battery overnight?
Yes — that's a parasitic draw test. We measure current with everything asleep, then pull fuses circuit by circuit until the draw drops off. It takes patience and a meter, and it's how the problem actually gets fixed.
